Overview
Adds a player button that goes fullscreen and crops the video to fill the screen (no stretching) - made for ultrawide monitors.
Tired of black bars on your 21:9 or 32:9 monitor? YouTube Fit to Screen adds one button to the YouTube player, right next to the fullscreen control. Click it and the video goes fullscreen AND scales up until it fills your entire screen. The image is cropped, never stretched — so everything stays in perfect proportion. • One click: fullscreen + fit to screen • Crops, never distorts • Click again or press Esc to go back to normal • No settings, no data collection, no permissions beyond youtube.com Made for ultrawide monitors (21:9, 32:9), but works on any screen whose shape doesn't match the video.
