Overview
Search a VOD's entire chat replay by word, user or Super Chat — click a result to jump to that moment. Free.
YouTube can replay the chat of a stream VOD. It cannot search it. This does. Load the whole chat replay at once, then find anything in it: a word, a user, a Super Chat — and click the result to jump the video to the exact second it was written. WHAT IT DOES • Search the entire chat replay by word — not just the part that has played • Search by author: everything one person wrote during the stream • Filters: Super Chat · members · creator and moderators • Every message shows its moment; one click seeks the video there • Loads the replay in the background with a live counter and a Stop button WHY IT IS NOT THE BUILT-IN CHAT REPLAY The built-in replay plays the chat back in sync with the video: to reach minute 90 you have to get to minute 90. This loads every message up front, so a search covers the whole stream instantly — and the answer is a timestamp you can click. PRIVACY The chat is read the same way the YouTube page reads it, from the page itself. No account, no analytics, nothing stored. The only thing that ever reaches us is a feedback message you type and send yourself. WHERE IT WORKS Stream VODs and premiere recordings that had chat enabled. A regular video has no chat replay — the panel says so plainly instead of showing an empty box. Live streams are not supported yet: chat replay appears after the stream ends.
