Overview
Estimates YouTube video/channel monetization signals from public page data. Estimates only; not affiliated with YouTube.
YouTube Channel Monetization Checker estimates whether a YouTube video or channel shows public monetization signals — directly on the YouTube page you're viewing. IMPORTANT: Every result is a probabilistic ESTIMATE derived only from public page data. It is NEVER proof of who earns revenue, and this extension is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to YouTube or Google. What it does • Reads the public YouTube page you are on and surfaces visible monetization signals (ads, memberships, content-claim hints). • Shows an at-a-glance estimate with the signals it found. • Works in English and Vietnamese (auto-detected from your browser). Optional accuracy upgrade • You can paste your own free YouTube Data API v3 key in the popup to improve accuracy and avoid page rate limits. The key is stored only in your browser (chrome.storage.local) and is sent only to Google's official API (googleapis.com) — never to us or any third party. Leave it blank and the extension still works using public page data. Privacy • No account, no sign-in, no tracking. • Your data never leaves your browser except, optionally, requests to Google's own YouTube API using the key you provide.
