YouTube CC Fuzzy Search is browser extension that enables fuzzy search through YouTube video subtitles (Closed Captions). - Uses defuddle to gather and parse YouTube Closed Captions (subtitles) directly from videos - The Fuzzy Search finds words and phrases in video captions even with typos or partial matches - Clicking on search results lets the video automatically Jump to Timestamp - Search results are shown with surrounding Caption Context for better understanding - Real-time Search updates results as you type with minimal delay Contribution The code of the extension is open-source! Any kind of contributions are welcomed at https://github.com/lorenzozane/youtube-cc-fuzzy-search Acknowledgements Closed captions are gathered and parsed using defuddle, a JavaScript library for extracting subtitles from YouTube. The fuzzy search is powered by fuzzysort, a fast and powerful JavaScript fuzzy search library.
