When you switch to another browser tab, minimize the browser, or move to another application, the extension automatically pauses the currently playing YouTube video. When you return to the YouTube tab or restore the browser, playback resumes automatically only if the extension paused the video. This ensures videos do not play unintentionally in the background and helps reduce distractions while working or browsing.
