YouTube AI Notes adds a side panel to YouTube that lets you take notes while watching videos. Each note is automatically tagged with the current timestamp, so you can click it later to jump right back to that moment. The extension also generates AI summaries of videos. You get an overview, key points, and chapter-by-chapter breakdowns with clickable timestamps. Useful when you want to quickly understand what a video covers before diving in, or when you need to revisit something you watched weeks ago. Pro users can also generate AI flashcards from videos. The flashcards help you test your knowledge and retain what you learned. Mark cards as "Got it" or "Still learning" to track your progress. All your notes are saved locally and organized by video.
