Works like a charm. I think this is the way to go. Traditional adblockers will have a tough battle with YT, but adsilencers, fooling YT into assuming that you are watching those annoying ads, are harder to detect and combat. Most people won't mind a second of black screen (or maybe a pic of a cute cat? An idea for you! ) at the start of a video, in the same way as I don't mind a bit of silence on Spotify (Mutify) etc. An option to replace the flickering ads with a black screen or a pleasant ... The counter for the number of ads silenced isn't working but apart from that, I think this is useful and I recommend it.
