Tiger-parent voice clip yells at you when you stray to a non-approved site. A focus tool disguised as a comedy bit.
FOCUS TOOL / WEBSITE BLOCKER / PRODUCTIVITY EXTENSION Tired of losing hours to Reddit, Twitter, or YouTube? YourMother is a distraction blocker that actually works, because it yells at you. YourMother is a Chrome extension that yells at you in a tiger-moms voice when you procrastinate. WHO IT’S FOR Anyone who’s ever had 47 tabs open and zero work done. Students, remote workers, freelancers, developers. Basically anyone whose brain treats “I’ll just check Twitter for a second” as a binding legal contract. If a polite productivity app hasn’t worked, maybe your mother will. HOW IT WORKS 1. Click the YourMother icon, add the websites you actually need for your work (Google Docs, GitHub, Notion, etc.) 2. Flip the toggle on 3. The moment you switch to a tab that ISN'T on your list, a tiger-parent voice clip starts yelling at you 4. It keeps yelling — different clips, never the same one twice in a row — until you go back to work It's a focus tool disguised as a comedy bit. The clips are dramatic, specific, and unhinged in the way only a deeply disappointed tiger parent can be: "Your cousin is a doctor." "What is so important about this tweety?" (twitter/x) "Do you love your mother? ...No, you don't." PRIVACY No accounts. No tracking. Nothing leaves your computer. • Your approved-sites list is stored locally in your browser • The audio clips ship bundled inside the extension — no streaming • We don't see what sites you visit • We don't collect anything (your mom does, though)
