What it does • Verifies a private local connection between Chrome and the installed Windows app. • Shows a clear Connected or Not Connected status. • Rechecks the connection automatically while Chrome is running. • Opens Whatnot directly from the extension. • Provides the secure browser doorway required for authorized seller and buyer assistance. Built for control and privacy • Runs only on whatnot.com and www.whatnot.com. • Communicates only with the local Your Whatnot Servant Windows app through Chrome native messaging. • Rejects unauthorized or mismatched connection requests. • Does not read or store your Whatnot password. • Does not bid, buy, post, message, or change your Whatnot account by itself. • Does not access or transmit your local seller database. Your Whatnot Servant for Windows must be installed. Chrome asks for one-time approval to add this companion. If you are already signed in to Whatnot, it opens normally; otherwise, you sign in directly with Whatnot.
