Your Screen Emulator shows the page you are already on at several screen sizes at the same time, side by side, without leaving the tab. Scroll one frame and the others follow. Click a link in one and they all navigate together. WHY YOU MIGHT WANT IT Checking a responsive layout usually means dragging a window edge back and forth, or flipping between device presets and trying to remember what the last size looked like. You end up comparing from memory. This puts the sizes next to each other so you can see the differences directly: where a heading wraps, where a grid collapses, where a button drifts out of thumb reach. It runs on the page you are already looking at, including localhost. Nothing to paste, nothing to upload, no waiting on a remote render. WHAT YOU GET - A built-in catalogue of viewport sizes covering small and large phones, tablets, laptops, and desktop monitors, plus every Tailwind breakpoint (sm, md, lg, xl, 2xl). Any width and height you type in is saved as a custom size. - Synced scrolling and navigation, with per-frame unlink when you want one frame to wander off on its own. - Optional device bezels, a mobile status bar, and a simulated browser toolbar that shortens the visible viewport the way a real browser does, so what you see above the fold is honest. - A live readout under each frame: real CSS width and height, how much the browser chrome took, device pixel ratio, active breakpoint, and current zoom. - Screenshots, full-page captures, transparent device mockups (PNG), and frame recordings (WebM), all rendered on your own machine. - Workspaces: save a set of devices and a layout, then bring it back later. Settings and custom devices can be exported and imported as JSON. - Keyboard-first, with a command palette (Ctrl+K or Cmd+K) and shortcuts for rotating, soloing, linking, zooming, and capturing. - Interface in English and Indonesian. HOW IT WORKS Many sites send an X-Frame-Options or Content-Security-Policy frame-ancestors header that prevents them from being displayed inside a frame. So that pages can be previewed side by side, those two response headers are removed: only in the tab where you switch the simulator on, and only while it is on. The rule is withdrawn the moment you close the simulator or the tab, and nothing else about the request is touched. You can turn this off entirely in Settings. PRIVACY Free, with no account and no paid tier. There is no server, no analytics, no telemetry, and no tracking of any kind. Your settings and saved layouts live in local extension storage on your own computer. The extension does not collect or transmit the content of the pages you view, and screenshots and recordings never leave your machine. WHAT IT IS NOT This simulates viewport dimensions and browser chrome. It is not an emulator of iOS or Android, and it is not a substitute for testing on real hardware: touch behaviour, device fonts, GPU quirks, and real network conditions still need a real device.
