Overview

View your IP information.

A lightweight extension to quickly view your IP information from the browser toolbar. Simply click on the ipinfo extension icon to view your IP information. Internal IP Address: An internal IP address is a unique identifier assigned to a device on a private network. This type of IP address is used within a local network to identify devices and communicate with them. Examples of private IP address ranges include 10.0.0.0/8, 172.16.0.0/12, and 192.168.0.0/16. These IP addresses are not visible on the internet and are only used within the local network. Devices on the same network can communicate with each other using their internal IP addresses. Public IP Address: A public IP address is a unique identifier assigned to a device on the internet. This type of IP address is used to identify a device on the internet and allow communication between it and other devices on the internet. A public IP address is assigned by an internet service provider (ISP) and is visible on the internet. Devices on different networks can communicate with each other using their public IP addresses. All information provided after Public IP Address relates to your assigned ISP configuration.
