All data is stored locally in your browser. Click on the "You Got This" extension icon in your browser toolbar 2. Set up your goals and areas of focus 3. Browse normally - the extension will provide encouragement or gentle reminders based on your activity 4. Adjust your goals anytime through the extension settings ### Configuration Options The extension offers several configuration options: - **Goals Management**: Add, edit, or remove personal goals - **Notification Frequency**: Control how often notifications appear - **AI Integration**: Enable AI-generated personalized messages (requires API key) - **History Management**: View and clear your browsing productivity history ## How It Works The extension analyzes your browsing patterns and matches them against your stated goals. When you're browsing content related to your goals, it provides positive reinforcement. Drifting to potentially distracting sites provides a gentle reminder of what you're working towards. The extension intelligently caches effective messages for sites you visit frequently, reducing processing overhead and providing consistent feedback. ### Privacy All processing happens locally in your browser. No browsing data is sent to external servers unless you specifically enable the optional AI features and choose to connect to an external AI service. You can also run a local instance of an OpenAI-compliant backend for full control over your data.
