Yoink — copy any element, ready for AI
Overview
Select a page element and copy a clean, structured snapshot to your clipboard for AI-assisted UI work.
Yoink is a Chrome extension for developers and designers who need a clear reference from the current page while rebuilding or documenting interface details. Open Yoink on the active tab, hover over an element, click to lock the selection, and copy a structured snapshot to your clipboard. You can also capture the selected element or current page view when you explicitly choose a screenshot action. Yoink runs locally in your browser. It does not create accounts, run analytics, or send copied content to a server. The extension reads the active tab only after you click the toolbar button, and it writes results to your clipboard only when you choose a copy action. Use Yoink for: - documenting selected UI references - handing page details to a teammate - preparing context for AI-assisted implementation - comparing spacing, typography, and visual structure during frontend work
