Yasumi (休み) means “break” or “rest” in Japanese. This extension is built around that simple idea: instead of slipping into distraction, you pause with purpose. By default, yasumi blocks distracting sites so you can stay focused and in flow. When you need a pause, you can consciously unlock access for a short, intentional break and then return refreshed. Unlike many focus tools that ask you to decide when to block yourself, yasumi inverts the approach: focus is the default.
