Yasumaro - AI Browsing Logger
Overview
Log your browsing history with AI summaries into local SQLite storage. Optional Obsidian integration.
Yasumaro - AI Browsing Logger Automatically records your browsing history with AI-generated summaries and stores everything locally in SQLite (OPFS). No account required. Obsidian integration is optional. --- ## What it does Yasumaro runs quietly in the background. When you spend meaningful time on a page (default: 5 seconds, 50% scroll depth), it: 1. Extracts the main content from the page 2. Sends it to your chosen AI provider for summarization 3. Saves the result to a local SQLite database on your device 4. Optionally appends the summary to your Obsidian daily note --- ## Key benefits - **Your data stays on your device** — browsing history is stored in the browser's Origin Private File System (OPFS), never on external servers - **Full-text search** — find past pages instantly with FTS5 trigram search (works with Japanese and other CJK languages) - **Works without Obsidian** — SQLite storage is fully independent; Obsidian is an optional add-on - **Multiple AI providers** — supports OpenAI, Gemini, Groq, Ollama, LM Studio, and any OpenAI-compatible endpoint - **Privacy controls** — PII masking, domain blocklist/allowlist, privacy consent flow, and GDPR-compliant physical deletion - **Retention policy** — configure maximum record count and/or retention period; purge on demand --- ## Features - Automatic page recording with configurable visit duration and scroll depth thresholds - AI summarization with cleansing pipeline (removes ads, navigation, social widgets, etc.) - SQLite history panel with date picker, star, search, and bulk Obsidian append - Export history as JSON, Markdown, or CSV - Domain filter (blacklist / whitelist) with uBlock Origin filter import - Master password protection for API keys (PBKDF2 + AES-GCM encryption) - Dark mode and Japanese/English UI --- ## Privacy All browsing data is processed locally. AI summaries are sent only to the AI provider you configure. No data is collected by the extension developer. See the full privacy policy at: https://armaniacs.github.io/yasumaro/privacy.html --- ## Getting started 1. Install the extension 2. Open Options → set your AI provider and API key 3. Browse the web — Yasumaro records pages automatically 4. Open Options → SQLite History to review your saved entries
