Overview

Spotlight-style search for browser history, bookmarks, and open tabs

Xun (寻) is a fast, keyboard-driven search bar that lets you find anything in your browser — open tabs, bookmarks, and history — from a single overlay. Press Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on Mac) to open. Start typing and results appear instantly, ranked by frecency (frequency + recency). No server, no account, everything runs locally. Features: • Fuzzy search across tabs, bookmarks, and history simultaneously • Frecency ranking — recently and frequently visited pages rise to the top • Ghost text auto-completion from your browsing history • Prefix filters (t for tabs, b for bookmarks, h for history) • Custom plugins — filter by URL pattern or redirect to any search engine • Built-in /compute calculator and /translate (EN↔中文) • Configurable keyboard shortcut • Config sync across browsers via remote server (optional) • Catppuccin Mocha dark theme Xun is open source, privacy-first, and works entirely offline. No data leaves your browser unless you enable optional config sync. 寻 means "to seek" in Chinese.
