XSLT Polyfill
3 ratings
)Overview
Applies an XSLT polyfill to all XML documents.
Since XSLT (Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations) is likely to be removed from web browsers in the near future, this extension can be used to maintain functionality. The extension applies an XSLT polyfill (https://github.com/mfreed7/xslt_polyfill) to all raw XML files that contain XSLT processing instructions (e.g. `<?xml-stylesheet ...?>`), and it also injects the polyfilled version of XSLTProcessor so that Javascript usage continues to function. The extension does not affect the page if the XML file does not use XSLT, or if the browser natively supports XSLT. **Key Features:** * **Automatic Transformation:** The extension automatically detects XML files and applies the linked XSLT stylesheet, if present. * **Privacy-Focused:** All processing is done locally on your machine. This extension does not and will never collect, store, or transmit any of your data or browsing activity. Only affects XML pages to convert the raw XML to viewable HTML. This extension (and the polyfill it contains) is open-source. Please feel free to contribute or report bugs: https://github.com/mfreed7/xslt_extension
