Xpunge — Erase Your X/Twitter History
1 rating
)Overview
Delete your tweets, likes, retweets, and manage followers. Runs in your browser, no API keys needed.
Archive upload, slow delete, unfollow everyone, follower audit on X (formerly Twitter). 100% local and currently 100% free. The extension does NOT collect, transfer, or sell user data. This extension does NOT currently delete your chat history or bookmarks. Currently this extension is just for Chrome. Note the nature of interfacing with X (formerly Twitter) is quite slow. And, if you have a large amount of Tweets/Posts and a large amount of followers, it can take a really long time. Ex 10k posts take about 24 hrs. Removing followers is about 250 per hr. It does not matter if you're using a different service (paid or free) or using X's API. It is what it is. That is why this extension exists. If you're going to have to take a week to delete your stuff, you shouldn't also have to pay for it. If you have a large following or many tweets to delete, somewhere along the line this extension will crash. Again, this is a function of dealing with X.com's interface. If you pay money for this service, they might have a better way of managing this but, more than likely, they do not.
