XpressPurge gives you real-time control over your X feed without sending your feed content to a server for filtering, logging into X through the extension, or changing how X works for anyone else. Your rules, topic kits, feed modes, and analytics stay on your device by default. CLEAN UP YOUR FEED, FREE XpressPurge's free Cleanup panel hides parts of X you may not want: promoted posts, premium and verification upsells, sidebar trends, "Who to follow", Grok entry points, view counts, inline reply prompts, and Community Notes rating prompts. You can also force the Following tab and hide For You. Cleanup is on every plan and works purely in your browser. FEED MODES A feed mode is a named setup: Smart topics, topic kits, exact rules, and how aggressive filtering should be. Free includes one mode. Pro unlocks unlimited modes so you can switch contexts (for example work vs quiet browsing) without rebuilding everything. Optional "Always apply" rules run on every mode. DESCRIBE WHAT YOU DON'T WANT, IN YOUR OWN WORDS Onboarding starts with one free-text question: "What are you sick of seeing?" Answer in plain language and XpressPurge turns it into Smart topics and matched topic kits (with simple keyword rules as a fallback) — no setup wizard, no rule syntax to learn. At the end you can start a one-shot 14-day Pro trial with one explicit click on the trial card — no card, never auto-started. The trial includes Smart Feed and the AI Coach (on builds that include the on-device model). SMART TOPICS AND SMART FEED Tell XpressPurge what to protect and what to reduce. For Pro users, the optional Smart Feed runs a small on-device text-embedding model so posts can be compared to your interests and dislikes without uploading post text for classification. Pro users can opt in to learn from "See less like this". Learned examples stay listed so you can inspect or delete them. The model cache, anchors, and labels stay on your device. TOPIC KITS Turn on curated topic kits for categories of noise or signal — Crypto, AI slop, engagement bait, rage bait, politics, memes, drama, job spam, engineering, startups, design, science, and more. Every built-in kit is free and unlimited, and topic kits shared by other users import for free. Pro adds Pack Studio for authoring custom kits and exporting/sharing packs. EXACT RULES Create local rules for keywords, accounts, link domains, media types, and engagement. Hide rules are unlimited on Free. Boost, Snooze, and Show-only are Pro-only. Sticky rules can apply on every feed mode. REVEAL AND CONTROL Hidden posts are removed from the feed rather than faded. Optionally leave a one-line receipt naming the reason, with one-click controls to show the post or correct the classification. Explicit user rules always beat soft signals. Material interest evidence can prevent an accidental soft hide without overriding your own Hide rules.
