XpertApps Engineer is your AI Coworker for ServiceNow development. It adds a chat panel directly on your ServiceNow pages, giving you an AI assistant that understands your live instance — the scripts, flows, ACLs, and configurations that are already there. What it does: Deep Research Ask any question about your instance. The assistant searches business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, and flows — then traces how they connect. Minutes instead of hours. AI Write Mode Create, update, and delete ServiceNow records with a built-in plan-and-approve workflow. Every change requires your explicit approval before executing. Nothing happens without your say-so. Change Log Every change is tracked with version numbers that match ServiceNow's Versions related list. See exactly what was created, updated, or deleted — grouped by update set. Revert Select any change and undo it using ServiceNow's native revert mechanisms — version restore for updates, record deletion for new creations, or Restore File for deletions. Scoped Update Sets Each approved session creates a dedicated update set in the correct application scope. Your changes are isolated and auditable. Duplicate Detection Before creating anything new, the assistant searches all existing business rules, client scripts, and script includes to avoid duplicates. It tells you what already exists before proposing changes. How it works: 1. Install the extension and configure your ServiceNow instance URL and credentials 2.
