xPassword — logins encrypted in your browser

Fill and save logins from your xPassword Personal vault while xpassword.ai is unlocked. Holds no key; makes no network calls.

The xPassword extension fills and saves logins for your xPassword Personal vault. It works only while xpassword.ai is open and unlocked in the same browser, and it holds your Personal vault only. Fill a saved login when you choose: click the xPassword mark in the field, press Alt+Shift+X, or pick it in the toolbar popup. Nothing is filled on its own. Your login is offered on the site's sign-in subdomains too — https only, and never on a different site. Warns you when a site looks like one you have a login for, and fills nothing there. Offers to save a login after you sign in, and to update a saved password when you sign in with a new one. The xPassword web app encrypts it and stores it in your vault. Choose sites it never offers to save for. That list stays in this browser. Generates strong passwords in your browser. Copy your snippets from the toolbar; copies clear after 30 seconds. A snippet you marked sensitive opens in the web app instead. Nothing leaves your browser from the extension itself: it holds no encryption key and makes no network calls. Your logins reach it from your unlocked xpassword.ai tab over a private connection inside this browser. It never fills without your action, never writes your logins to disk, and keeps them only until you lock xPassword, your computer goes idle, or the browser closes.
