)Overview
A browser extension that provides XML tag auto-completion in most web input fields.
XMLfy is an open-source Chrome extension that adds intelligent XML tag auto-completion to web input fields. It automatically detects when you're typing XML tags and provides instant closing tag completion, making XML editing faster and more efficient across the web. Features: * Smart Auto-Completion: When you type an XML opening tag and press ">", XMLfy automatically generates the corresponding closing tag and positions your cursor between them for immediate content entry. * Universal Compatibility: Works with most web input fields including text areas, input fields, and content editable elements across virtually any website where XML editing is needed. * Customizable Settings: Access the settings interface to toggle XMLfy on/off, switch between light and dark themes, and adjust other preferences to match your workflow. * Seamless Integration: Activates automatically when you focus on supported input fields - no manual activation required. The extension runs quietly in the background until XML tags are detected. Caveats: * Input Field Limitations: XMLfy may not function on all websites due to custom input implementations, shadow DOM restrictions, or sites that override standard input behavior. * XML Format Focus: Currently designed specifically for XML tag completion. It doesn't provide broader XML validation or formatting features beyond closing tag generation. We may add more customizations around XML handling in the near future.
