XML Viewer & Formatter: Tree, Table, Excel Export & XSLT Polyfill
Overview
Read any XML as a searchable tree, or as a table you can export to Excel. Format it, run XPath, and see XSLT-styled sitemaps again.
Opens XML in Chrome as a clean tree you can fold, search and copy from: sitemaps, RSS, Atom and podcast feeds, SOAP and API responses, config files and e-invoices, including files of tens of megabytes. Every document is formatted (pretty-printed) and checked as it opens, and repeating records become a table you can export to Excel or CSV. Styled sitemaps and feeds after Chrome drops XSLT: from Chrome 158 (17 November 2026), Chrome no longer applies XSLT stylesheets, so styled XML sitemaps, such as those made by WordPress SEO plugins, and styled RSS or podcast feeds show raw code. XML Viewer shows them styled again in a Styled tab, using the XSLT polyfill engine that Chrome recommends, with links that work. It is for reading pages; it does not bring back XSLTProcessor for web apps. Pro is an optional one-time purchase. Everything listed under Free stays free. FREE • Styled view for sitemaps and feeds that use XSLT, with the tree one click away • Opens automatically: any page served as XML, plus raw text files such as GitHub "Raw" links • Tree with attributes, comments, CDATA, child counts and indent guides; Alt+click opens or closes a whole branch • Table view: feed items, sitemap URLs, invoice lines or any repeating element as rows you can sort and filter • Search tag names, attributes and text; Enter and Shift+Enter jump between matches • Click a node to copy its XPath, its markup or its text • Raw view: pretty-print (format), minify or see the original, with Copy and Download • Checks that the XML is well-formed: a broken file shows the exact line and column of the error • Built for big files: only what's on screen is drawn, so large documents stay responsive • Clickable links, light and dark theme • Built-in viewer for files on your computer: open, drag and drop, or paste PRO ($3.99 ONCE, 10 FREE TRIES INCLUDED) • Export the table to Excel (.xlsx) or CSV, or copy it straight into Google Sheets; your filter and sort order are kept • XPath queries with clickable results; default namespaces are handled, so /urlset/url/loc works on a sitemap as written • Convert XML to JSON, then copy or download it • One key works in up to 3 browsers. No subscription, no account. PRIVACY Everything runs inside your browser. Pages and files you view are never uploaded. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Apart from reading files from the site you're already on (the source of a broken file, or the page's own XSLT stylesheet), the only network request is to our payment provider, Dodo Payments, to check a Pro license key.
