Format XML, check XML well-formedness, and verify supported XML Signature integrity from a focused Chrome extension by XML ValidatorBuddy. Use XML from the current browser tab, paste XML directly, or select a local .xml file. Results open in a dedicated tab where they can be reviewed, copied, or downloaded. Features: - Format XML into a readable, conservatively indented document. - Check XML well-formedness with line and column diagnostics plus document metadata. - Verify safe whole-document RSA-SHA256 XML Signature integrity using an embedded X.509 certificate. - Preserve the original bytes of untouched UTF-8 and UTF-16 files for signature-sensitive processing. - Explain unsupported signature features without describing them as cryptographically invalid. - Link to XML ValidatorBuddy CLI, Web API, and desktop options for automation, larger requests, and private local processing. Signature verification checks supported reference-digest and signature-value integrity only. It does not establish certificate trust, signer identity, certificate-chain validity, or revocation status. The free extension sends XML only after an explicit action and first-use consent. Anonymous requests are limited to 10,240 bytes. Submitted XML is processed by the XML ValidatorBuddy Web API and is not retained as application data or intentionally written to application logs. Results are held only in Chrome session storage. No XML is sent to analytics or advertising services.
