Overview
Check X (Twitter) profiles for bot and scam signals. Explore trust scores, community reports and private notes.
Check X (Twitter) profiles for bot, fake-account and scam signals before you follow, reply or click. xlegit brings trust scores, public profile evidence and community reports into a Chrome side panel. Open a profile and select the xlegit badge to review an existing assessment or start a scan without leaving X. UNDERSTAND THE SCORE See a trust score from 0–100 and the signals behind it: account history, posting patterns, content originality, audience signals and suspicious links. Scans include server-side AI analysis of public posts. Check the assessment date, available evidence and explanations to understand the result. Scores can be incomplete or wrong; they do not verify identity or guarantee safety. READ AND SHARE COMMUNITY REPORTS Read reports about suspected bots, scams, impersonation, spam, engagement farming and stolen content. Sign in to share what you observed or withdraw your own report. Community reports stay separate from the automated score so you can consider both. KEEP TRACK OF PROFILES • Add accounts to your watchlist and check their latest shared scores. Alerts can flag accounts that turn red or receive qualifying scam reports. Checks run periodically while Chrome is running, or when you select Check now. • Save private notes to remember why an account caught your attention. Search, edit, delete, export and import your notes. • Compare locally saved assessments to see what changed when enough history is available. START FREE Look up available published scores without signing in. Create a free account for 5 profile scans a day, up to 30 per month, and community reporting. For a Free scan, follow the collection guide and scroll through the profile to gather up to 100 public posts. xlegit checks the submitted evidence against the X API before calculating the score on its servers. Your current scan allowance appears in the extension. Watchlists, private notes and locally saved score history are also free. PRO IS COMING SOON Pro adds automatic collection of public posts, shared score badges in timelines and replies where available, controls to hide posts from low-score accounts, and shared score history. Both plans include server-side AI analysis. Pro also lets you request an additional review of recent posts and profile images, with a separate daily allowance. YOUR PRIVACY Automatic profile scanning is off by default. Profile handles may still be sent to look up existing scores. Public profile details and posts are processed when you start a scan or enable automatic scanning. xlegit does not read private message text or drafts. Private notes stay in your browser and never affect anyone's score. Signing in, signing out or switching accounts clears local notes and watchlists. Export notes from Saved to keep a backup, then import them to restore it. You can delete your account in Settings.
