XKit Rewritten

extension is great but how to get rid of the annoying explore thing that shows active users? idk if this is new or? i haven't seen anyone talk about it.

This one is very good. Never failed saving the day so far- honestly makes tumblr usable.

Hi! I really love xkit and it's a really life savior, but something weird is happened. Scissors icon for cutting posts has disappeared from my blogs so I can't cut my posts. I uninstalled and installed xkit, but everything remained the same. Everything else works, but not this. Is this some kind of bug or what?

We're aware of an oversight caused by Tumblr's translation data that currently renders Quick Tags and Trim Reblogs non-operational when using Tumblr in Russian or Hindi. You can subscribe to the issue on GitHub here: https://github.com/AprilSylph/XKit-Rewritten/issues/1459

I love this extension and I've been using it for the longest time as it makes Tumblr a million times better than it is. But if I may ask, would it be possible to create an option to bring back the bigger sliding avatars? I've really been missing those and I've always hoped that XKit would provide a way to bring them back someday.

I was under the impression that this extension was better than xkit or new xkit. But I actually get more functionality out of new xkit at the moment. But when Tumblr made the erroneous decision to change the look of the dashboard to basically be Twitter... Everyone was saying how xkit rewritten fixed this and reverted the look. But it doesn't. I used to love XKit, I had it downloaded for Tumblr so I could actually edit posts. But I cannot do that at all whatsoever on any post anymore. 3 stars because it was great when it worked.

Excellent extension, would it be possible to serach friends by email like the previous version of tumblr allowed up until recently?

Nope, that functionality has been removed entirely on Tumblr's side.

I LOVE New Xkit, wish it has a tag blacklist feature like Tumblr Savior or the old Xkit does. Also for some reason when enabled it doesn't work along side Tumblr Savior and shows tags that I've tried to hide.

We've chosen not to include a filtering system now that Tumblr has its own! You can read more about Tumblr's tag and post content filtering options at https://help.tumblr.com/hc/en-us/articles/115015814708. There are a couple of options in XKit Rewritten's Tweaks that affect posts filtered by Tumblr's system, namely "Use a slim layout for filtered posts" and "Hide filtered posts entirely".

Gonna be honest, if XKit Rewritten had a legitimate Tag Blacklist function, it would be a home run of a replacement. As it stands, it doesn't, so I find whatever features it could offer generally lacking in all areas since New XKit stills works and has what I need alongside Tumblr Savior.
