Overview
Clock in, track breaks and clock out of your Xinnace workspace, straight from your browser.
Xinnace Time Tracker is the browser companion to Xinnace, the HR, payroll and workforce management platform. It is for people whose employer runs Xinnace: sign in to your workspace once and the tracker puts your shift on whatever page you are working on. WHAT IT DOES • Clock in and clock out without going back to the Xinnace tab. • Take a break, or switch to a work status such as Training, Meeting or Coaching, chosen from your workspace's own list of codes. • Watch a live shift timer and break timer, and — where your employer publishes rosters — a strip showing the shift you are rostered for today and whether you are early, due now or running late. • See your totals the moment you clock out: time on shift, time on break, and net worked. • Undo a clock-out for fifteen minutes if you hit it by mistake, or start a second shift for the same day after that. The widget drags anywhere on the page, collapses to a bar, and can be dismissed for the day. It remembers where you put it as you move between pages, and it follows your workspace's own colours and logo. WHY IT APPEARS ON EVERY SITE An agent spends the shift in a mailbox, a spreadsheet and a helpdesk — not on the Xinnace tab. So the widget appears on ordinary web pages, which is what lets you clock out, start a break or check the timer without hunting for the workspace window. Away from Xinnace it is a remote control and nothing more. It does not read, alter or transmit the contents of the pages you visit, and it cannot make a network request to any site other than your own workspace on xinnace.co.za. WHAT IT SENDS TO YOUR EMPLOYER Everything the tracker sends goes to your employer's own Xinnace workspace and nowhere else: • The clock, break and status actions you take in the widget. • A presence signal roughly every thirty seconds, so your employer's floor view can show who is currently working. • Screen lock and idle transitions, as reported by the browser. The extension is told only that the screen locked or went idle — it cannot see what is on it. • Counts of clicks and keystrokes, batched about once a minute. These are numbers only: how many, never which. It does not record what you type, and has no access to passwords, messages, form contents or page text. • Page addresses and titles, recorded only on your employer's own Xinnace pages. Never on any other website. None of it is sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising or profiling. Your employer decides what is collected and how long it is kept. WHAT YOU NEED An account on an employer's Xinnace workspace at xinnace.co.za. The extension does nothing on its own — signed out on another website it draws nothing at all. If your employer does not use Xinnace, this extension will not do anything for you.
