Xext is an Chrome web extension for making X (Twitter) fit the way you work. Free features include: - Customize X’s sidebars, layout, width, spacing, and density - Hide distracting interface sections - Save and reopen local X searches - Export and import your local Xext data - Use simple reading and writing productivity tools Pro features include: - Save visible posts and accounts to a local library - Add notes, tags, and personal context - Create local timeline filters - Highlight the strongest visible reply - Unlock advanced X themes - Rewrite drafts with Chrome’s built-in on-device AI - Use the local writing workbench to create drafts from a topic and selected tone AI features are user-initiated and use Chrome’s built-in local model when available. Xext does not upload your X content to Xext or third-party AI services. Generated text stays in the extension until you review, edit, copy, and post it yourself. Xext uses the visible X page to place its interface and apply your selected settings. It does not use X OAuth, the X API, undocumented X endpoints, background profile crawling, or automated likes, follows, replies, reposts, messages, or posts. Your settings and saved content remain in Chrome’s local storage. Pro is activated with a license key delivered through Creem.
