XCheck - Non-Follower Finder
Overview
Scans your X Following page and lists accounts that don't follow you back.
XCheck instantly finds accounts on X (formerly Twitter) that don't follow you back. Open your Following page, scroll, and watch non-followers appear in real time — right inside a clean side panel. No API tokens. No passwords. No data leaves your browser. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ HOW IT WORKS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Step 1: Open XCheck from your Chrome toolbar. It launches as a side panel alongside X. Step 2: Enter your X username. XCheck opens your Following page in a new tab. Step 3: Scroll down through your Following list. As each profile loads, XCheck checks whether that account follows you back. Step 4: Non-followers appear instantly in the side panel with their display name and handle. That's it. No complicated setup. No account linking. No OAuth screens. You scroll, XCheck scans. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHY XCHECK EXISTS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ You're following 2,000 people. How many follow you back? You genuinely don't know — and X doesn't make it easy to find out. You could click into profiles one by one and look for that tiny "Follows you" label. For a few dozen accounts, that's tedious. For hundreds or thousands, it's not realistic. XCheck solves this in minutes. It reads your Following page as you scroll through it and identifies every account that doesn't follow you back. No clicking into individual profiles. No guesswork. Just a clear, scrollable list of non-followers — built in real time as you browse. Your follower-to-following ratio matters. X's own algorithm factors in how balanced your following list is. If you're following far more people than follow you, your reach and visibility take a hit. Cleaning up non-followers isn't vanity — it's a practical step toward better engagement and a healthier account. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ KEY FEATURES ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ REAL-TIME NON-FOLLOWER DETECTION XCheck identifies accounts that don't follow you back as they appear on your Following page. No batch processing, no waiting for a report. Results stream in live, one by one, so you can see non-followers the moment they're detected. SIDE PANEL INTERFACE Everything runs inside Chrome's built-in side panel. Your X tab stays open on the left while XCheck displays results on the right. No popups. No separate windows. No tab switching. You browse and review simultaneously. WHITELIST Not every non-follower deserves an unfollow. Maybe it's a news account, a favorite creator, or a brand you want to keep following regardless. Star any account to move it to your Whitelist. Whitelisted users are excluded from the non-followers list so you can focus on the accounts you actually want to clean up. COPY ALL PROFILE LINKS One click copies the X profile URLs of every detected non-follower (minus your whitelisted accounts) to your clipboard. Paste them into a spreadsheet, share them with a social media manager, or use them however you need. You can also switch to the Whitelist tab and copy just those links. DARK MODE AND LIGHT MODE Full theme support. Toggle between dark and light with a single click. Your preference is saved and persists across sessions. SCAN COUNTER A live counter in the header shows how many accounts have been scanned and how many non-followers have been found. You always know exactly where you are in your Following list. CLEAR AND RESCAN Starting fresh is one click away. Clear your current scan results and scroll through again. Useful after you've unfollowed some accounts and want a clean count. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ FREE VS PRO ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ XCheck is free to use. The free tier scans up to 100 accounts per session — more than enough to get a feel for how it works and to identify your first batch of non-followers. Need to scan your full Following list? XCheck Pro unlocks unlimited scanning for a one-time payment of $4.99. No subscription. No recurring charges. Pay once, use forever. Activate Pro instantly by pasting your license key directly in the extension. Scanning resumes right where it left off — no need to start over. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PRIVACY AND SECURITY ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ XCheck is designed with privacy as a foundation, not an afterthought. NO API ACCESS: XCheck does not use the X/Twitter API. It does not connect to X's servers on your behalf. It simply reads the page you're already looking at in your browser. NO PASSWORDS: XCheck never asks for your X password, your login credentials, or any form of authentication. You log into X yourself — XCheck just reads the public DOM of the Following page you're viewing. NO DATA COLLECTION: Your scan results, your Following list, and your non-follower data stay entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to our servers. Nothing is stored remotely. Nothing is shared with third parties. NO TRACKING: XCheck does not include analytics, telemetry, or any form of usage tracking. We don't know who you are, who you follow, or what your results look like. LOCAL STORAGE ONLY: Your username, theme preference, whitelist, and license status are saved in Chrome's built-in storage. That data syncs across your Chrome browsers if you're signed into Chrome — but it never touches our infrastructure. MINIMAL PERMISSIONS: XCheck requests only the permissions it needs — side panel access, storage for preferences, and tabs to open your Following page. No broad host permissions. No background network requests beyond license activation. This matters because most follower-analysis tools require you to hand over your X credentials or authorize an app via OAuth. That gives the tool access to your entire account — your DMs, your posts, your private data. XCheck avoids this entirely. It works by reading what's already on your screen, nothing more. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHO IS XCHECK FOR? ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ CREATORS AND INFLUENCERS If you're building an audience on X, your follower-to-following ratio is a signal of credibility. Cleaning up accounts that don't follow you back helps you look more established and authoritative. XCheck makes the cleanup process fast and painless. SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGERS Managing multiple accounts or handling follow strategy for clients? XCheck gives you a quick audit of any account's following list. Export the non-follower URLs and fold them into your workflow. GROWTH-FOCUSED USERS The X algorithm considers your following ratio when determining your visibility in feeds and search. A bloated following list filled with accounts that don't follow you back can suppress your reach. XCheck helps you keep your list lean and reciprocal. CASUAL USERS Maybe you just want to know. You followed someone months ago and you're curious if they ever followed back. XCheck answers that question in seconds. SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS Your X account represents your brand. Following hundreds of accounts that don't follow you back can make your profile look unmanaged. XCheck helps you maintain a clean, professional-looking account. ANYONE CLEANING UP THEIR X ACCOUNT If you've been on X (or Twitter) for years, your Following list has probably accumulated a lot of dead weight — inactive accounts, spam accounts, people you followed once and forgot about. XCheck helps you see what's actually there and make informed decisions about what to keep. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT XCHECK DOES NOT DO ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ XCheck does not auto-unfollow anyone. It will never click the "Unfollow" button for you. You stay in full control of every action on your account. XCheck does not mass-follow, mass-like, mass-retweet, or automate any engagement actions. It is not a growth hack tool. It is a read-only scanner. XCheck does not interact with the X API. It does not post tweets, read DMs, or access anything beyond what is visible on your Following page. XCheck does not violate X's Terms of Service. It does not automate actions on the platform. It reads publicly visible data from a page you are already browsing — no different from you manually checking each profile yourself. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Q: How accurate is XCheck? A: XCheck reads the "Follows you" indicator directly from the X interface — the same one you'd see if you checked each profile manually. If X shows it, XCheck reads it. Accuracy is 1:1 with what X displays. Q: Why do I need to scroll manually? A: X loads your Following list dynamically as you scroll (infinite scroll). XCheck detects new profiles as they load into the page. Scrolling is what triggers X to load more accounts — XCheck captures them as they appear. This approach means XCheck doesn't need API access or your login credentials. Q: How long does a full scan take? A: It depends on how many accounts you follow. For a list of 1,000 accounts, slow steady scrolling takes roughly 5-10 minutes. XCheck processes each profile in milliseconds — the bottleneck is how fast X loads them. Q: Will this get my account suspended? A: No. XCheck does not perform any actions on your account. It does not click buttons, submit forms, or make requests to X. It reads the DOM of a page you're browsing. This is not detectable as automation because it isn't automation — it's observation. Q: Can I use XCheck on multiple X accounts? A: Yes. Use the "Change username" button in the header to switch accounts. Log into the other X account in your browser, update the handle in XCheck, and scan as usual. Q: What happens if I close the side panel mid-scan? A: Your current scan results are held in memory for the session. If you reopen the side panel while still on the Following page, XCheck picks up where it left off. If you navigate away or close the tab, you'll need to start a new scan. Q: Does XCheck work on mobile? A: No. XCheck is a Chrome desktop extension that uses Chrome's side panel API. It requires a desktop or laptop browser. Q: Does XCheck work on browsers other than Chrome? A: XCheck is built for Google Chrome. It may work on Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera) that support Chrome extensions and the side panel API, but it is officially tested and supported on Chrome. Q: What's the difference between XCheck and tools like Circleboom or Unfollower apps? A: Most follower analysis tools require you to connect your X account via OAuth, which grants them access to your profile, DMs, and posting ability. Many also run server-side, meaning your data passes through their infrastructure. XCheck does none of this. It runs entirely in your browser, reads only your Following page, and never touches your credentials. The tradeoff is that you scroll manually — but the privacy benefit is significant. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ SUPPORT ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Having issues or questions?
