Xbrandify Email Assistant has one single purpose: helping hotel and travel company staff answer guest emails. It reads the guest email currently open in Gmail or one.com webmail and suggests a complete draft reply, built on the hotel's own knowledge base, rooms, packages and prices. Microsoft 365 and other IMAP mailboxes are supported through the Xbrandify platform, where the mailbox is connected directly. The storage permission is used to save the user's extension settings and their Xbrandify account connection locally in the browser, so the user stays signed in and preferences persist between sessions. No guest email content is stored in browser storage. Host permissions for Gmail and one.com webmail are required so the extension can read the guest email the user has open and insert the suggested reply into the compose field. Host permission for the Xbrandify API domain is required to generate the reply suggestions. The extension only activates on these mail domains.
