xbookmarkshelf is a Chrome extension for organizing and reading your X bookmarks and likes. Give saved posts a place of their own. Keep bookmarks and likes in separate libraries, organize them with custom marks, and find what you want to read with search and filters. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Create up to 30 marks per account, each with your own name and icon. • Add multiple marks to a post. • Search post text and filter by author, mark, read status, media, links, or posting date. • Switch between card and list views, light and dark themes, and Japanese and English. • Sort by save order or posting date and browse with continuous scrolling. • Back up and restore all posts or posts with a specific mark as JSON. • Back up and restore display settings separately. • Delete selected posts or clear the current library. • Change the import URLs for Bookmarks and Likes. • Add marks automatically with optional local AI. IMPORT FROM X IN SMALL BATCHES Sign in to X, open Bookmarks or Likes, and click the extension icon to start importing. The extension scrolls through the list gradually, reads the posts displayed on the page, and saves them in Chrome. Choose a fixed wait between batches or a random wait within a range you set. Repeated imports skip duplicates already in your library. If X moves Bookmarks or Likes to a new URL without changing the page structure, you can enter the new address under Settings → Import URLs. Only HTTPS list pages on x.com are supported. Normally, you do not need to change these settings. Changes to the page structure may require an extension update; changing the URL alone will not address those changes. AUTO-MARK WITH LOCAL AI Connect to LM Studio running on your own computer to let AI help with marking. You will need a compatible decision model, such as d1-3B. The model checks posts against the marks you have already created and adds only those it identifies as matches. If nothing matches, no mark is added. Existing marks are kept. You can enable auto-marking during import or run it later from the dedicated Auto-mark page. For classification, the extension sends post text, quoted text, link card titles, and mark names to LM Studio on your computer. It does not send them to a cloud AI service. If you choose to include images, the extension loads up to four images per post, including video cover images, from X’s image server (pbs.twimg.com) and sends them to the same local LM Studio server. Image classification requires an image-capable model. This option is separate from the image preview setting. AI can make mistakes, so check the results as you use it. LM Studio is not required for importing, reading, or adding marks manually. STORAGE AND IMAGE PREVIEWS Posts and settings are stored in your Chrome profile. Saved post text can be read offline. Image previews load from X’s image server and can be turned off. Videos show a cover image and a link to the original post. Images and videos are not saved for offline viewing. There are no ads, analytics, or cloud sync. The extension does not send your saved posts to the developer. BEFORE YOU USE IT Importing reads posts displayed in your browser rather than using X’s official API. Changes to X’s page structure or functionality may affect importing, and complete imports are not guaranteed.
