Xagent Browser Relay

Lets Xagent control and capture requested media only from the Chrome tab you approve.

Xagent Browser Relay connects the Xagent AI agent to a single Chrome tab that you explicitly approve. Most AI agents browse the web from a cloud browser, which means you have to log in again inside a machine you do not control. Browser Relay takes the opposite approach: the agent works in the tab already open in front of you, using the session you are already signed in to. You watch what it does, and you can take over or stop it at any moment. HOW IT WORKS 1. Sign in to Xagent and create a pairing in Settings. 2. Paste the pairing JSON into the extension and choose "Pair and connect". 3. Open the tab you want Xagent to use and choose "Approve current tab". The badge reads ON only while the relay is connected and a tab is approved. DESIGNED AROUND ONE APPROVED TAB - The extension never attaches to a tab on its own. Nothing happens until you approve a specific tab. - It never reads your cookie store, password manager, browsing history, or any other tab. - Chrome shows its standard "being debugged" banner the whole time the tab is under control, so the state is never hidden from you. - "Stop controlling tab" detaches immediately. YOU KEEP THE SECRETS Password, one-time-code, passkey, and payment field values are stripped inside the page before anything is sent. When a page needs one of them, Xagent pauses and asks you to type it in the tab yourself, then takes a fresh screenshot before it continues. A pending action is discarded if the page changed while it was waiting. MEDIA CAPTURE When a task explicitly asks for it, Xagent can record audio or video from the approved tab. A capture runs 1 to 30 seconds, produces WebM, and is capped at 32 MiB. It is bound by the same approved-tab boundary - choose "Stop controlling tab" to revoke access. NO TELEMETRY The only network connection the extension makes is a WebSocket to the Xagent server you paired with. No analytics, no telemetry, no third-party services. Requires an Xagent account.
