Connect the active X1Pen tab to a local MCP server for AI-assisted FuzzyBASIC and SLANG development.
X1Pen Connector links the X1Pen tab you explicitly select to an x1pen-mcp server running on the same computer. MCP clients such as Codex and Claude Code can assist with FuzzyBASIC, SLANG, and Z80 assembly development in the X1Pen editor that you can also edit yourself. The MCP server includes searchable references for these languages and for the X1 hardware and I/O implementation. The extension handles the selected tab's title and URL, requested source, validation results, execution, debugger and video state, requested CPU and video memory ranges, paused video-memory changes, and emulator screen captures. It supports reading and editing source, validation, run and stop operations, and Z80 debugger control. Access is limited to the tab where you review the disclosure, enter the local connection details, and select “Connect this tab.” Communication is limited to the paired local MCP bridge at 127.0.0.1. The extension contains no advertising, analytics, tracking, or developer-operated data collection service. Your configured MCP client may send requested X1Pen data to its AI provider under that provider's terms and privacy policy.
