Overview

Send chosen websites to a private window automatically. Add rules from the popup or right-click menu; subdomains are included.

Always open the websites you choose in incognito, without manually moving each address. Auto-Incognito for Sites monitors navigation in regular tabs, closes a matching tab, and reopens its destination in a new private window. To help keep a site out of browser history, it also requests the removal of that address after the redirect. The rule applies on your next visit, whether you follow a link or use a bookmark. Enabling an entry does not immediately move the page already on screen; it takes effect when that tab navigates again. 🎯 WHAT YOU GET • Add the current domain from the popup with "Enable for this site," or toggle it from the page's right-click menu. • Review your saved entries in a collapsible section and remove individual rules with the × button. • Cover subdomains with one entry instead of adding each host separately. • Keep browsing normally on unlisted destinations; tabs already in a private window are not redirected. 🔧 HOW IT WORKS 1. Visit a website you want to handle automatically. 2. Open the popup and enable the current domain. 3. Navigate to a matching destination from a regular tab. 4. The original closes and a new window opens at the same address. 🌐 HOW MATCHING WORKS Rules use the base domain, not a particular path or an exact full address. Matching normally compares the last two hostname parts. For a built-in list of two-part endings, including .co.uk and .com.au, it uses three parts instead. This is a fixed list, so unusual suffixes may be grouped more broadly than expected. Check the saved entry before relying on it for a specific host. 💡 GOOD TO KNOW Can I open sites in incognito automatically for a second account? Yes. Your regular cookies do not carry over, although private windows share their own session. Does incognito mode hide me from a network or employer? No. It separates the browsing session; it does not provide network anonymity. 🔒 DATA AND SETTINGS Your chosen domains are kept in browser sync storage and may follow you to other signed-in devices when synchronization is enabled. Navigation addresses are checked against those rules. There is no extension account to create, and the popup follows your system's light or dark theme.
