FlowCapture records your screen and turns the take into a finished video without leaving your browser. Record a tab, your desktop, an app window, or a region you draw; scroll the page on its own while you narrate; draw on top as you go; then trim it, turn each click into a smooth zoom, and export. It was built for product demos, tutorials, and bug reports. Nothing is uploaded. Recording, editing, transcoding, noise reduction, and background removal all run on your own device. WHAT YOU CAN RECORD • A browser tab, your whole desktop, a single app window, or a region you select. • Up to 4K, at 30 or 60 fps. • Tab audio, your microphone, or both. • Webcam picture-in-picture, with green-screen background removal. WHILE YOU RECORD • A 3-2-1 countdown so you can get set — it never appears in the video. • A floating timer with Stop and Pause, right on the page. • Smooth auto-scroll with adjustable speed and easing: down, up, or down and back up in one take. • A brief pause at each section heading, so a long page doesn't rush past. • A teleprompter in the recorder window, where the camera never sees it. • Drawing tools on the page: pen, highlighter, arrows, shapes, text, numbered badges, a laser pointer, and a spotlight blur for anything you would rather not show. • A REC badge on the toolbar, so you always know a take is running. CLEARER NARRATION • Voice Enhance reduces background noise and sharpens your voice as you record — fans, air conditioning, keyboard, room hiss. • One switch handles it for most people; a gear icon opens the detailed controls. • Modes for different rooms, or Custom to set noise reduction, clarity, and level yourself. • Test your microphone on a live meter before you start. • Only your voice is processed. Tab and system audio stay untouched. AFTER YOU STOP • The take is ready to preview the moment you stop, and saves to your Downloads folder. • Trim the start and end on the player itself. • Chapters are built from the sections and clicks in your take — jump to one, or trim to it. • Export MP4, GIF, or MP3 from the same recording, as many times as you like. • Vertical and square crops for social posts. • Smart zoom: record flat, and each click becomes a smooth zoom in the exported video. • A large, smooth cursor with click ripples is drawn into the export — a tab recording never captures the real one. • Device frames: wrap the video in a browser-window mockup or on a gradient backdrop. IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG • If the recorder window closes or the browser crashes mid-take, FlowCapture offers the recording back to you the next time you open it. That copy stays on your device, and you can delete it yourself with one click. REPEATABLE WALKTHROUGHS • Scripted mouse gestures: clicks, hovers, drags, pointer sweeps, and typing into fields. • Chain them into sequences that play step by step, so the same demo comes out the same way every time. • Save whole setups as named presets and switch between them in one click. • Turn off links while recording, so a stray click can't ruin the take. TIDY UP THE PAGE Every switch takes effect immediately, so you see the result before you record: hide sticky headers, cookie banners, chat widgets, and scrollbars; blur sensitive fields; pause page animations; add letterbox bars, edge dimming, a cursor halo, or a click spotlight. ALSO INCLUDED • Screenshots of the visible area, the full page, or just the article — as PNG, JPG, WebP, or PDF. • A scan that lists a page's images, videos, SVGs, and fonts so you can download them. • Keyboard shortcuts to open the recorder and to start or stop a take. PRIVACY No account, no watermark, no analytics, and no server of ours to send anything to. Your recordings never leave your computer. PERMISSIONS FlowCapture installs without the broad "read your data on all sites" warning. It asks for access to one specific site at the moment you record or annotate that page, and recording your desktop, a window, or a screen area needs no site access at all. The permissions it uses cover capturing the audio and video you choose, adding the on-page helpers for scrolling, zoom, annotation and the recording controls, saving files to your computer, and remembering your settings and presets.
