The extension checks the appointment calendar at regular intervals based on your selected consulates and target date range. You can minimize the tab, use other tabs, or continue working on your laptop while the extension scans in the background. The extension will automatically book the slot as soon as a new slot opens. For overnight monitoring or auto-booking, keep your laptop awake and make sure Chrome continues running. Closing the portal tab or allowing your laptop to go into sleep mode may pause monitoring. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ IMPORTANT FOR CGI PORTAL USERS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Keep the CGI portal tab open and active for automatic booking. The extension scans and books through the active portal tab. If you minimize or close the CGI portal tab, you may still receive a notification when an open slot is found, but automatic booking may not work unless the portal tab is open and active. Keep only one usvisascheduling.com tab open at a time. Opening multiple CGI portal tabs may trigger a concurrent session error on the portal. If this happens, the extension may pause temporarily and resume once the session clears. Note: Avoid manual browsing on the visa portal while the extension is actively scanning.
