FREE EXTENSION — BRING YOUR OWN AI The extension has no developer account or developer-operated translation server. Choose a model running on your computer, an API endpoint, or an eligible CLI account through the optional local helper. Subscription support is limited to the implemented CLI routes; availability and billing follow the selected authentication and provider terms. With a model running entirely on your own computer, translation text stays on that computer. A WORD YOU DECIDED ON STAYS DECIDED Long works invent their own vocabulary, and a translator that guesses a coined term differently each chapter is exhausting to read. Select a word, say how this work writes it, and every later chapter uses it. A pinned word is held out of the request entirely, so it cannot come back changed. Those decisions are kept per work and per target language, and you can export them as a file. Anyone reading the same work can import it and get the same readings — importing merges rather than overwrites, so nothing you decided is lost. PREPARE THE NEXT PAGE Enable next-page pre-translation to prepare a supported next link while you read. A result that is ready when the next page starts can appear automatically on an enabled site. Recent prefetched results can be reused during the browser session: up to five pages, subject to size limits and eviction. If a result is missing or still being prepared, translation may need to run again. SOURCE, TRANSLATION, OR BOTH Switch between the three while you read. Nothing is sent again and your place on the page is kept. CHECK A WORD WITHOUT LEAVING THE PAGE Select anything and ask for a quick answer in place — useful when you want to know what a term means rather than how it translates. When you need more than a quick answer, hand the selection to an AI website in a new tab, with your question already filled in. The configured submission mode either sends the question automatically or leaves the input prepared for your review. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO No account. No analytics. No telemetry. No server of the developer's anywhere in the path. The extension runs on a site only after you enable it there.
