Overview

Scan visible page colors locally, edit four theme roles, check contrast, and open them in CodexTheme Builder.

CodexTheme Palette Bridge is an independent helper for making an editable theme starting point from the colors visible on the page you are viewing. Choose Scan current page. After that explicit click, the extension locally examines visible computed foreground, background, and border colors in the active tab and prepares four roles: background, accent, secondary, and highlight. - Edit every role as a six-digit hex value beside its swatch. - Check the accent-on-background contrast result as you edit. - Invalid input visibly fails closed and keeps Open in CodexTheme Builder disabled. - Open Builder with settings derived only from the palette currently shown in the popup. activeTab gives temporary access only to the tab you choose to scan. scripting runs the bounded local color-counting function in that clicked tab. The extension has no host permissions and cannot scan browser-restricted pages. Color processing, palette editing, swatch updates, and contrast checking happen locally in the browser. The extension does not store the palette or edits; closing the popup discards them. It has no analytics, remote code, upload, or remote processing. Only when you choose Open in CodexTheme Builder, it opens the first-party https://codextheme.tools/builder with a settings-only URL. The URL encodes and transmits the four current role colors and fixed theme settings for the requested Builder handoff, which may enter normal server or CDN request logs. It excludes the scanned page address, text, images, markup, form values, account data, identifiers, and raw scan counts. The destination site's privacy policy covers its normal request handling. CodexTheme Palette Bridge is an independent, unofficial CodexTheme companion. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI.
