Read YouTube conversations with synchronized original and translated captions.

Aplomo makes long YouTube conversations easier to follow. Open a YouTube podcast or interview, click Aplomo, and use the side panel to: - read the source-language captions in sync with the video; - show an optional second-language translation; - jump to any moment by clicking a transcript line; and - show synchronized captions directly over the video. The first release uses captions available from the open YouTube video. Translation runs on the device through Chrome when supported and does not require an Aplomo account. No YouTube video data, captions, or translations are sent to an Aplomo backend in this version. Help people read and translate long-form YouTube conversations while they watch.
