Phishing gets past spam filters because those filters check who sent a message, not what it says. DelPhish reads the message itself and tells you whether to trust it. Four detection layers run on every analysis: heuristic rules, a machine learning model, a BERT language model, and an LLM. Their verdicts are combined, so when an attacker learns to slip past one, the others still catch it. WHAT IT DOES • Check any URL from the popup Paste a link, get a verdict and the indicators behind it: lookalike characters, open redirects, freshly registered domains, and links already listed in OpenPhish, URLhaus or Google Safe Browsing. • Right-click any link to analyse it (Pro) Check where a link really goes before you click it. • A DelPhish button inside Gmail and Outlook on the web (Pro) One click analyses the open message without leaving your inbox. • Technical signals an attacker cannot fake easily DNS records, TLS certificate, domain age and page fingerprinting. WHAT YOU SEE A verdict — Phishing, Suspicious or Safe — a risk score from 0 to 100, and the specific indicators that produced it. Not just a colour: the reasons, in plain language. PERMISSIONS, AND WHY • contextMenus — adds the "Analyse with DelPhish" right-click item. • activeTab and scripting — read the link or text you selected, only on the page you are on and only when you ask. • storage — keeps your session and language preference on your own machine. Not synced. • Access to mail.google.com and outlook.com — only to place the DelPhish button next to your messages. The extension never reads a message on its own: it is sent for analysis when you click. PRIVACY Analysis runs on our servers in the European Union. For the fourth layer, the message text is sent over an encrypted connection to an external inference provider, which is contractually bound not to train models on it or retain it.
