Screenshot Capture Studio is a local-first Chrome extension for capturing, editing, and exporting screenshots from the active tab. Capture the exact screenshot you need: — Capture the visible area of the current tab. — Select a region on the page and capture only that area. — Capture a full page by scrolling and stitching the page locally. — Open every capture in a local preview editor before export. Edit screenshots before saving: — Add arrows, text comments, rectangles, rounded rectangles, ellipses, and blur redactions. — Move, resize, restyle, or delete annotations before export. — Crop screenshots, undo or redo changes, and reset edits when needed. — Zoom and scroll large screenshots while keeping editor controls accessible. Export locally: — Save edited screenshots as PNG, JPEG, or PDF. — Copy the edited PNG to the clipboard. — Use predictable local filenames and local export metadata. Premium features: — Set and use one custom filename pattern for local saves and cloud uploads, with safe date, time, and capture-mode tokens. — Connect Google Drive or Dropbox, choose a destination folder, and explicitly upload an edited PNG. A provider share link is copied only when available. Prepare Linear issue drafts when needed: — Review and edit the generated issue draft before anything is submitted. — Connect Linear from Settings or the draft before destination fields are shown. — Choose the destination details and submit only when ready. Privacy-first behavior: — Screenshot capture, editing, clipboard, and export processing happen locally in Chrome. — The extension does not request broad host permissions. — The extension does not send screenshot pixels, page content, selected text, full page URLs, filenames, clipboard contents, or saved files to analytics. — Linear issue creation sends the reviewed issue text and edited screenshot image only after explicit authorization and submit. — Premium cloud upload sends an edited PNG and generated filename only after the user explicitly selects a provider and starts an upload.
