ChatGPT Query Fan-Out, Sources & Citations Extractor
Overview
See every search ChatGPT runs, the sources it cited and the ones it skipped. Check any domain. Export to CSV. For SEO/GEO, private.
A research tool for SEO and GEO. When ChatGPT answers with web search, it quietly fans your one question out into many searches, reads a pile of pages, and cites only a few. None of that shows in the chat. Query Fan-Out records all of it as the answer arrives, in a side panel next to ChatGPT, so you can see whether a site is losing at retrieval (never found) or at citation (found, not used). SEE WHAT CHATGPT DID 🔍 The queries: every search it ran behind a prompt, grouped by round, with the limits it set on each: the sites a search was locked to, how recent a page had to be, where a local search ran, and any site: it added itself. 🔗 The cited sources: the pages that made the answer, how many times it used each one, their rank in ChatGPT's results, and each site's share of the citations. 📄 The sources it skipped: every page the searches brought back that the answer did not cite, with the ones ChatGPT opened and how many lines it read. 🛒 Products, places and news: the products it recommended with every store's price and its top pick, the places on its map with ratings, hours and nightly hotel prices, its news carousel, and your own past chats it pulled in. 🧭 The answer in its own order: pages, places, products and the map, each where the answer put it. 🔭 Deep research: every page behind a report, grouped by site or by search round. ANALYZE ANY DOMAIN 📊 Type a domain and see its whole path through an answer: whether a search brought it back, in which round and how high, whether ChatGPT opened it, whether the answer cited it, and its share of the citations. EXPORT EVERYTHING 📤 Export one conversation or all of them to CSV or JSON: every query, source and citation, with its rank, round, place in the answer, cited or not, news marks, prices, ratings and store links. Or copy a query, an address or a whole list straight from the panel. HOW IT WORKS Open the side panel and use ChatGPT normally, signed in or out. Answers are captured as they stream in, grouped by conversation; older conversations sync when you open them. Signed-out ChatGPT does not publish its queries, so for those the panel shows how many sites it searched. It also shows which model answered and how hard it thought. Available in English, Hebrew, Arabic, German, French and Spanish, with full right-to-left support. PRIVACY All captured data stays on your device (local browser storage). Nothing is sent to us or to any server we control. The extension reads ChatGPT only on chatgpt.com and chat.openai.com, using your own browser session. Site icons come from Google's public favicon service (the domain name only). Product and business photos load directly from the image addresses in ChatGPT's own data, with no referrer. The extension stores no cookies. No ads, no tracking, no accounts. Not affiliated with OpenAI. "ChatGPT" is a trademark of OpenAI, used here only to describe compatibility.
