Autapture is a private screenshot workspace for Chrome. Capture the visible area, draw a region, stitch a full page, or collect screenshots from selected tabs and user-supplied URLs. Then crop, annotate, blur, highlight, add text and shapes, and export in the format you need. Everything stays on your device: captures, editing history, and preferences are stored locally in the browser. Autapture has no account, no analytics, no ads, and no upload service. New in 1.1: start a site capture from the current page, follow discovered links on the same website, and export a self-contained handoff for your preferred AI tool. Choose page and depth limits, pause, resume, or retry failures. Add screenshots of interactions you demonstrate yourself, with a note for each step. Common account/action links and downloads are skipped. Autapture does not automatically click buttons, submit forms, make purchases, or verify that website functions work. Keep the separate capture window open and unminimized. Review screenshots and extracted content before sharing them, especially from signed-in pages. Nothing is automatically sent to an AI service.
