Overview
Real posting date and how many are interested on every Indeed job, plus a job tracker for your applications.
Indeed Date Reveal helps job seekers save time and apply more strategically. It shows the exact date a job was posted on Indeed, how many people have already opened an application for it, and then works as a job tracker for everything you apply to. Indeed does not display when a job was originally published, which leaves candidates guessing whether a listing is fresh, active, or already weeks old. The older the job, the lower the chance of receiving a response. This extension removes that uncertainty wherever you browse: • Indeed search results pages • Homepage job recommendations • Individual job pages (/viewjob and /job) • Company job listings No more guessing. You see it straight away, right where it matters: "Published on 21 June 2026 (1 day ago)", and under it, how crowded the job already is. Two audience figures, not one: • How many people opened an application. On every job card, as the page loads, before you click anything. • How many actually applied, on the job's own page. They are different numbers and they are never mixed up. Why this matters: When you apply to a job posted today, or two days ago, your chances of being seen are significantly higher. Apply to something posted 32 days ago and it may already be closed, or buried under hundreds of applications. This extension lets you spend your time on the openings that are still live. Filter out what is not worth your time, with three rules you set once: • Job age: nothing older than the age you choose. Indeed's own date filter still lets sponsored and algorithm-pushed jobs through; this one uses the real posting date. • Competition: skip the jobs everyone already found. Set a ceiling on how many people clicked Apply, from "nobody yet, be the first" up to 150. • Keywords to avoid: words you would rather never see in a title or a company name. Grey them out or hide them completely, your choice. A greyed job tells you in a few words which rule caught it. Then track them, with a job tracker built into Indeed: • Save a job from anywhere: a card, a job page, a company page • Move it along as your search progresses: saved, to apply, applied, interviewing, accepted, no answer, rejected • Write yourself a private note on any of them • Every change is kept, so you can see how a job got where it is • Filter by step, search by title, company, city, pay or contract Copy an ad for an AI assistant: • One click copies the whole ad, with the facts first: title, employer, the exact date, the city, the pay, the contract, the benefits, and the two audience figures • Or pick a ready-made prompt: cover letter, tailor my CV, interview prep • Rewrite any of them in your own words, or write your own from scratch • Paste into ChatGPT, Claude or any other assistant Perfect for job seekers who: • Want to prioritize new openings • Are tired of applying blind • Lose track of what they applied to and when • Value their time Also ideal for recruiters and headhunters who: • Need to identify fresh job postings • Want to submit candidates while roles are still open • Track market activity in real time • Avoid sending profiles to expired or stale listings Key Features: • The exact date a job was posted, and how many days ago • How many people opened an application, on every card, at load • How many actually applied, on the job's own page • Save a job, follow or mute an employer from anywhere • Job tracker for your Indeed applications, through every step of your search, with notes • Copy any ad for an AI assistant, on its own or inside your own prompt • Filter by job age, by how many people got there before you, or by words you want to avoid • Search everything you have seen, by city, pay, contract or anything else the card shows • Export to CSV, or take everything to another browser in one JSON file • Works instantly, no clicks or setup needed • Fast, lightweight, and invisible when not needed • No tracking, no cookies, no analytics • 100% local browser logic • Independent tool, not affiliated with Indeed Everything is free, with no limits at all: • The exact posting date, on every job • Both audience figures • The history of every job you have seen • As many saved jobs as you want • Job tracker for as many Indeed applications as you want • As many followed and muted employers as you want • As many words to avoid as you want • All three filters, age, competition and keywords • Copying an ad, and all four prompts • Every export: CSV, and the JSON file that carries everything No account, no sign-in, no subscription, no ads. Nothing is locked, nothing is counted, nothing is asked of you. How it works: Indeed stores a hidden timestamp for each job listing, and publishes the audience figures in the same data. This extension reads them directly from the page, converts the timestamp to a readable date, and inserts a label showing when the job was published. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is transmitted anywhere. Privacy: We collect nothing. We do not track you, log your activity, run analytics, or ask for an email address. Your history, your saved jobs and your notes stay on your device, and you can export or erase them whenever you want. Supported Indeed domains: all *.indeed.com job search pages worldwide. Who made this: This is a small, independent project by Magical Potion Consulting, a digital consultancy firm based in Paris, France, that builds tools that make digital workflows more transparent and efficient. Not sponsored or approved by Indeed. If you find this extension useful, please leave a review. It helps others discover it, and supports ongoing development. Stop applying blind.
