Claude Usage Monitor puts your current usage percentage on the toolbar icon and shows every active limit in a popup, or in Chrome's side panel if you prefer. It refreshes automatically in the background. WHAT IT SHOWS • Current Session: your 5-hour usage bar with a time-to-reset countdown • Weekly Limits: your weekly usage, plus any extra per-model weekly limits on your plan • Pace: a clear "On track" or "At this pace, limit hit in ~40m" capsule under each limit • Limit Resets: any free Full or 5-hour resets you've been granted, with their expiry date • This Week's Usage by Product: how your week splits across Claude Code, Chats, Cowork and more • Extra Usage: usage-credit spend, monthly limit, balance and auto-reload, and why credits are off (e.g. "Out of credits") • Claude Design: weekly usage for Claude's design features, when your plan has it • Promo banner: shows any active "limits boosted" promotion from claude.ai, with a dismiss button ALERTS (each one can be turned off) • When usage reaches your chosen thresholds (40–95%), and when a limit hits 100% • When a limit resets and full usage is available again • Pace alerts: once per window, when you're on track to run out before the reset • Reset expiry alerts: when an unused free reset will expire within 24 hours • Optional startup summary when Chrome opens • Separate thresholds for Extra Usage if you want them MORE • Sidebar mode: open in Chrome's side panel with a roomier card layout that stays open while you work • Badge can show the session %, the weekly %, or nothing • Background refresh on a schedule you choose (1–30 min) • 6 themes (Vintage Dark, Vintage Light, Dark, Light, Nord, Sakura), all checked for readable contrast • Custom Google Font per theme, downloaded once and cached locally • Every section can be shown or hidden in settings HOW IT WORKS The extension reads your usage data directly from the claude.ai API using your existing browser login. No passwords, cookies or tokens are ever read or stored. Data is kept in Chrome storage on your device and never sent anywhere else. You need to be logged in to claude.ai. After installing, visit claude.ai/settings/usage once; after that it refreshes automatically. PRIVACY No data is collected by, or sent to, the developer or any third party. The only exception is when you pick a custom font: that font is downloaded once from Google Fonts, and only the font name is sent. See the privacy policy linked below.
