Google, Google Flow, and Veo are trademarks of Google LLC. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ CHANGES IN 1.2.38 Name your downloads the way you work Every download used to be numbered: 0001, 0002, 0003. That is still the default and still the safest choice, because the number tells you which prompt a file came from and a failed generation leaves its number empty instead of shifting everything after it. You now have two more options under FILE NAME in the download card: - Timestamp: write a timestamp at the start of each prompt, like (0:05), and the file arrives as 05-13.jpg instead of 0004.jpg. If you are cutting to a timed script, your files land already matching your timeline. - Prompt: the file is named after the prompt that made it, so a folder full of clips is readable a week later without opening anything. In both modes the name is used directly, with no number in front. If a safe file name cannot be produced, that single file falls back to its number instead of failing. Timestamps never reach the image When you use timestamps, Auto Flow removes the timestamp from the prompt before sending it to Google Flow, so the model cannot draw "(0:05)" into a corner of your picture. It is kept only for the file name. A timestamp is removed only when it is certain to be one: when you have chosen timestamp naming, or when it is written in brackets and your whole list is timestamped. A prompt like "12:30 on a clock face" is sent exactly as you wrote it. - If you choose timestamp naming and a prompt has no timestamp, Auto Flow names the prompt and refuses to start, so you find out before the batch instead of after it. Choose your download folder - Type a folder name in the download card and every file lands there. Subfolders work too: Project/Scene1. - A switch keeps a separate dated folder for each run, so two batches never mix, and a live preview shows the exact path before you start. - Google does not allow extensions to write outside your browser's Downloads folder, so if you want another drive, set the download location once in your browser settings. Auto Flow follows it and creates your folder inside it. Image to Video: every prompt gets its own image In Frames mode, a batch could come out with every video built from the same image. Auto Flow was only checking whether the frame slot was full, never which image was in it, so it skipped the confirm step and Flow quietly kept the previous frame. Auto Flow now tracks the image that is really in the slot and accepts a frame only once it has changed to the one you asked for. If the right frame cannot be placed, the run stops and says so instead of generating with the wrong image and spending your credits. Steadier batches - In video runs, a prompt that fails to generate now correctly leaves its number empty, so numbering never shifts underneath you. - Images with very short file names, like a.jpeg, are now waited for properly while they upload. - Images are no longer dropped in silence when your device does not report their file type, which mainly affected Android and some Windows setups. - Auto-Tag now tells you why it assigned nothing instead of just showing zero. - The prompt list now sits above the download settings, where you actually use it.
