Because life's too short to delete 'Copy of Copy of Copy of...'

Automatically replaces "Copy of ..." in the **Make a copy** dialog inside Google Docs, Google Slides, and Google Sheets with your own prefix. ## Usage 1. Click the extension icon. 2. Type your prefix in the text box. - e.g. `[COPY]` → file becomes `[COPY] My Report` - e.g. `DRAFT -` → file becomes `DRAFT - My Report` - Leave **empty** → file becomes `My Report` (prefix removed entirely) 3. Click **Save**. 4. Open any Google Doc, Sheet, or Slides file. 5. Go to **File → Make a copy**. 6. The Name field will already show your prefix instead of "Copy of". 7. Click **Make a copy** as usual. --- ## How It Works - A content script runs on `docs.google.com`, `slides.google.com`, and `sheets.google.com`. - It watches for the "Make a copy" dialog to appear using a MutationObserver. - When the dialog opens, it reads the Name field, strips the "Copy of" prefix, and replaces it with whatever you saved. - Nothing is sent anywhere. Everything stays in your browser. --- ## Notes - Works with English and several other languages and several more in the future (Currently available: French, Spanish, German, Italian). - The name change happens in the dialog — you can still edit it further before confirming. - No Google account access, no Drive API, no permissions beyond `storage`.
