Overview

Add games to your ignore list on the Steam Store with one mouse gesture, or whole lists at once, picked by you or by curators.

Ignore games on the Steam Store with one mouse gesture, or whole lists at once. Steam Ignore Like A Pro is a free, open-source extension that makes Steam more convenient and respects your privacy. It brings Steam's "Ignore" button to every game capsule in the store, so you no longer open a game's page just to click "Ignore" once. Everything works exactly as in Steam, because the extension uses Steam's own ignore. HOW TO USE: 1. Open any page in the Steam Store. 2. Hold the right mouse button on a game's capsule and swipe right (or left to ignore it with the "Already Played" mark). 3. An "IGNORED" badge appears on the game right away. The ignore itself reaches Steam moments later. 4. Click the badge to take the ignore back if you change your mind. FEATURES: ▪ Free and open source - a lightweight extension with no frameworks, no tracking and no telemetry. ▪ One-gesture ignore - Hold the right mouse button and swipe right to ignore a game anywhere its capsule appears. ▪ Ignore with the "Already Played" mark - Swipe left to ignore a game you played on another platform with that mark right away, instead of opening its page and clicking "Ignore" -> "Played on Another Platform". ▪ Bulk ignore from curator lists - Ignore lists from Steam curators right from their pages. Pick a curator that marks games you don't like (AI-generated, asset flips, shovelware and so on), and the extension ignores the whole list. ▪ Built-in ignore lists - Ignore every game with AI content, Denuvo, kernel-level anti-cheat and more at once, whichever you pick. The lists are built from what Steam shows on each game's page and come with the extension. ▪ Discovery Queue ignore for any tag or genre - Open the Discovery Queue on a tag, genre or category page (VR, Racing and so on), and the extension ignores every game in the queue or only the badly reviewed ones. ▪ Classic Discovery Queue Helper - The extension automatically ignores games as you go through your daily Steam Discovery Queue, by your ignore criteria (for example, bad reviews), or ignores them and moves the queue forward right away. ▪ Undo - You can take back a single game's ignore at any time right on its capsule, or take back a batch of recent ignores as a list by adding an undo task. ▪ Customizable - You can customize the extension quite widely, change hotkeys, turn individual modules and ignore modes on or off, move the extension's interface and much more. ▪ 23 interface languages - switchable on the fly, independently of your Steam language. Q: Why use this instead of Steam's native ignore? A: Steam's native "Ignore" button is missing on many Steam pages and widgets, and where it exists, ignoring takes several clicks (hover over the game's capsule -> click ▪▪▪ -> click "Ignore"), with no "Played on Another Platform" option in that menu. Steam also has no way to ignore a list of games at once. The extension gives you one-gesture ignore on any Steam page and widget, plus bulk ignore from built-in lists and ignore automation. Q: How do I ignore many games on Steam at once? A: Steam itself ignores one game at a time. With the extension you can, for example, add a built-in list to the ignore queue (games with AI content, Denuvo, kernel-level anti-cheat and more), add a curator's whole list to the ignore queue, ignore a whole bundle with one gesture, run the Discovery Queue helper on a tag or genre, or simply swipe away unwanted games' capsules as you browse the store. Q: Can I hide AI-generated games with this extension? A: Yes. The extension comes with a built-in list of games whose Steam page has the "AI Generated Content Disclosure" section. Click the lists icon on the "Ignore Tasks Queue" panel in the extension, pick the release year and add the list to the queue. Games with Denuvo, kernel-level anti-cheat or In-App Purchases and every VR game are ignored the same way. You can also add a list from a curator that marks games made with AI. Q: Does using this extension comply with Steam's rules? A: Yes, as far as ignores and un-ignores by gesture or hotkey go. Each one fires once per action you take, like a click on Steam's "Ignore" button. The queue helpers, the ignore queue (curator lists, built-in lists and bundles) and bulk undo are automation. Section 4.C of the Steam Subscriber Agreement prohibits non-human-controlled interaction with Steam, including earning rewards or progress without genuine user input, so use the automation features at your own discretion and with the risk in mind. The extension doesn't earn sale rewards for you and isn't designed to. It also has a built-in safeguard that paces the requests it sends to Steam, one at a time. The final word, however, belongs to Valve, along with the company's stance on and measures against this or any other Steam automation extension. Q: Can I undo an ignore? A: Yes, at any time. Steam's Ignore button on the game's page keeps working alongside the extension. You can also draw a circle or a zigzag over a game's capsule, or click the IGNORED badge on it, to take a single ignore back. Or open the extension's popup, click the undo button (↩️) and choose which recent ignores to roll back, the last N games or everything from the last N hours or days. Q: Does it work if my Steam interface is not in English? A: Yes. The extension is language-agnostic. It works regardless of the language settings you have chosen in your Steam account, as it relies on the page structure and doesn't read text labels. Q: Does it work on macOS and Linux? A: Yes. On macOS and Linux the right-click menu opens as soon as the right button is pressed, so the extension holds that menu back on a click over a game's capsule when ignore or undo is set to a gesture. You can also assign the ignore to other keys (for example Shift + Left-Click) in SETTINGS -> Manual Ignore. Q: Why does an ignored game stay on the page? A: The extension marks it at once (IGNORED badge, blurred cover), but Steam only drops ignored games from its lists when it rebuilds them, and its caching can lag behind. Q: Can I ignore a bundle or a set of several games? A: Yes. Swipe over the bundle's capsule, then swipe over it once more to confirm. Every game and DLC in the bundle goes to the ignore queue and is ignored at the usual pace. Games on your wishlist are skipped. PRIVACY & SAFETY: ▪ Works through Steam itself, either clicking Steam's own buttons or sending the same requests it sends. ▪ No tracking, no analytics, no external servers. We do not collect, receive, or share any personal user data. Your settings, ignore history and pending queue are saved locally in your own browser, and requests go directly to Steam's official servers (store.steampowered.com and api.steampowered.com). ▪ No passwords or Steam API keys are stored, and nothing is sent anywhere but Steam. The extension uses your active Steam session in the browser and, to check the reward for going through a Discovery Queue during a sale, the access token the Steam store page already contains. The token goes only to Steam's own API and is never stored. Steam Ignore Like A Pro is not affiliated with or sponsored by Valve Corporation or Steam.
