Save selected text and supported X posts to your private Save2Brain library.

Save2Brain turns useful posts and passages into private, editable notes called learning cards, with links back to the source. Keep ideas you want to use again, and optionally let your own AI draw on the knowledge you choose. This Chrome extension sends the text or X posts you choose to your Save2Brain account. Visit save2brain.com to read, edit, and organize the resulting learning cards. SAVE WHILE YOU BROWSE • On X: save a public post with a useful technique, such as a tip for helping new users get started with your app. Click the Save2Brain button on that post. You can also open the individual post and use the extension, or right-click the post's link. • On other websites: highlight a useful passage, such as a checklist in an article or a step in a tutorial. Open the extension or use the right-click menu, review the selected text, add an optional note, and save. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU SAVE Once Save2Brain confirms it has received your save, you can keep browsing while it prepares your learning cards. Follow progress in the website's Inbox. The cards are added to your private library automatically; you do not need to approve each one. Read and edit them, revisit their sources, and group related ideas into collections. A saved message means your material has been received; the learning cards may still be in progress. Sometimes there is no useful idea to turn into a card, or a save needs your attention. AI can make mistakes, so you can check and edit the results. USE YOUR KNOWLEDGE WITH YOUR OWN AI You can use Save2Brain on its own. If you want your AI to use your saved ideas, open Agent Access on the website and follow the setup instructions for a supported AI tool on your computer. You choose which knowledge it can read. It cannot edit your library, and installing the extension does not connect it automatically. GET STARTED 1. Create or sign in to your account at save2brain.com. 2. Open the extension, choose Connect Save2Brain, and approve the connection to the account you want to save to. 3. Save a public X post or a selected passage, then open Save2Brain to see the result. REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITS Use Chrome 116 or newer on a computer, with an internet connection and a Save2Brain account. The service is for adults aged 18 or older. The Free plan includes a limited number of credits each month. Credits are used to turn what you save into learning cards. The paid Pro and Power plans offer more credits and let you save ideas from videos; Free does not include videos. Installing the extension does not buy a subscription or add credits. See https://save2brain.com/pricing for current prices and allowances. On ordinary websites, save the text you select; a webpage link alone does not import the full article. X saving works with supported public posts when that feature is available. Saves depend on your remaining credits and whether Save2Brain can access and read the source. The extension does not keep full-page copies for offline reading. YOUR CONTROL AND PRIVACY You choose each save. Highlighting text, opening a page, or scrolling X does not send it to Save2Brain. When you confirm a text save, the extension sends the selected text, page address, optional note, and basic details needed to deliver the save to Save2Brain. For an X save, it sends the chosen post's link and identifying details. Save2Brain may read that post, some related conversation, and supported images or videos. It uses the AI and other services described in our Privacy policy to prepare your learning cards. The extension does not keep a log of the pages you browse or collect cookies, X login details, private messages, likes, or bookmarks. It remembers the connected account so you can keep saving without signing in each time. If a temporary problem prevents a save from sending, the extension may keep up to 20 pending saves on your computer for up to seven days to try again. You can disconnect this browser in extension settings. A successful disconnect ends its access and clears its connection details and pending saves from this browser. If Save2Brain cannot be reached, the extension tells you that disconnection could not finish. Optional reports about how saving works are off until you agree on the website. Reports that link your activity over time need a separate choice in Settings. Your saved text and source links are not included in these reports.
