Tohtally Tracker automatically detects completed online purchases and makes it effortless to add them to your Tohtally account, as a personal budget expense or a shared group split. When you finish a purchase online, Tohtally Tracker reads the confirmation or receipt page and identifies the merchant, the amount and the currency. It only acts on a genuinely completed order, never on a product page, cart or checkout you haven't paid for. It then shows you the purchase to review before anything is saved. Nothing is ever added to your Tohtally account without your confirmation. What it captures for you: - Merchant, amount and currency, pulled from the order total, so tax, shipping and fees are all included. - Itemised breakdown, when a receipt lists individual products (e.g. Latte £6, Croissant £4), it fills them in automatically under the parent purchase, and adds a reconciling "Tax & fees" line so the items always add up to the exact amount you were charged. No products on the page? It simply records the total. - Order number and a link back to the order. - Tracking number, courier and a tracking link, so your delivery details live with the expense. Adding a purchase: - Personal - log it privately to your budget. - Split with a group - pick a group and choose how to divide it: equally, by exact amounts, by percentage, or by shares. Foreign-currency orders are converted to your group's currency automatically. - Pick a category and subcategory, adjust the date, and add. Smart, quiet notifications: - A new purchase is surfaced for review the first time it's seen. - If you dismissed one and it's detected again, it simply asks whether to add it. - Anything you've already added stays silent, no repeat pop-ups. Privacy: detection happens entirely on your device. The extension reads the current page only to identify the purchase, keeps it locally, and sends it to your own Tohtally account, and only when you confirm. It never downloads or runs remote code, and it doesn't track your browsing.
